In the main growing areas of Paraguay & southern Brazil additional systems will bring rain chances in the near future for areas where crops can still benefit from rainfall.

There will also be dry periods allowing harvest to progress & allowing planting progress of second crops of this growing season.

Soil moisture conditions should be favorable for early growing conditions for second crops. Farther north in Brazil continued frequent rain chances will at times slow bean harvest & second crop planting, but not all locations will get rain each day.

In Argentina, in the areas where crops can still be helped by rain, there will be additional chances for some beneficial amounts late this week and into the weekend. Some locations, especially in the south, continue to run well below normal on February rainfall.

Weather conditions seem to be fairly strong in most (but not all) areas as we reach some key points in the crop development. As we know that can change very quickly, so we will keep our eye on it for any changes.
